Hey there, Madalyn here!
Welcome to Photos by Madalyn! I’m Madalyn Grace — the heart and creative eye behind the camera. At 22 years old, I’ve built a business around something I absolutely love: capturing meaningful, joy-filled moments that you’ll cherish for a lifetime. What started as a passion has grown into a calling, and I’m so grateful to serve others through it.
My faith shapes the way I serve my clients. As a Christian, I believe every love story and every season of life is intentional and God-given. I strive to reflect His love through the way I treat others — with kindness, joy, and authenticity.
I’m a strong believer in being as genuine as possible. Authenticity can’t be staged or bought, and those real smiles, happy tears, and heartfelt embraces are exactly why I do what I do. Capturing your true joy and the love you share with the people around you — that’s what it’s all about.
I was born and raised in Ohio’s Amish Country—and I still proudly call it home. I like to say I’m a city girl at heart, but no matter how much I dream about living somewhere new someday, nothing quite compares to the peaceful beauty of the Ohio countryside. The scenery here is something special. That said, I absolutely love to travel! I'm back and forth to the Sarasota, Florida area several times a year, and a goal of mine is to travel even more through photography in the future.
Quality time is definitely my love language. Anytime I get the chance to spend time with the people I love, I take it. I try to schedule “free time” for myself, but 9 times out of 10 I end up making plans with friends or family instead—and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Fun fact: I’ll choose a chai latte over coffee every single time, and I have a slight obsession with Alani Nu. (Alani Nu, if you’re reading this… I’m ready for that sponsorship.)
If you meet me, you’ll quickly learn that I’m a talker. Whether I’m chatting with someone else or thinking out loud, there’s usually a conversation happening. The words “perfect” and “adorable” may come up more than they should, but I promise the conversation will always be genuine and fun—so don’t worry about any awkward silence.
Most importantly, my faith is a huge part of who I am. I love Jesus, and that shapes the way I run my business and care for the people I work with. I truly pray for my clients and for the experience I’m able to give each person I photograph.
At the end of the day, I’m here to make your experience fun, comfortable, and unforgettable while capturing moments you’ll treasure forever. I can’t wait to meet you and tell your story through my lens.
